Recap of Nigeria – Eagle 10 – including Video with Pastor David Ibiyeomie & Dr. Murdock

Church By Phone

Nigeria & the Eagle 10 Conference

Most of our prayers are wasted
because we’re not making decisions.

Most of what we call
“prayers”, are “hopes” & “thoughts”

Dr. Murdock working on a new book:
“My Highest Persuasions”
>> as a gift for everyone
who blessed him on his birthday

– Dr. Murdock had the best
trip he’s ever had to Nigeria
>> got to fly Business Class, thanks to a
woman who’s a Partner of the ministry
>> Had no one in front or beside him
>> Was able to put his books next to him,
Stretch his feet out
>> worked all the way thru to Port
Harcourt, 16 hours, didn’t sleep

– The church leaders were at
the airport, waiting for him
>> Port Harcourt
Pastor David Ibiyeomie, Salvation Ministries
>> “A once-in-a-lifetime man”
You won’t meet a man like
him but once in your lifetime…

[This video is from a year ago, presumably 😉
when Pastor David came to visit Dr. Murdock
for his birthday in April of last year. Seems
appropriate to include here…]

– the Nigeria trip was spectacular

– Pastor David treated Dr. Murdock like a king
– they took him the long way to the hotel, passing
by the new church grounds that they’re building
there:

– over 200 acres
– This man is building the largest church on the earth.
– seating for 150,000 people(!)
– a protege of Bishop David Oyedepo who pastors
Winner’s Chapel in Lagos, who’s church seats 52,000,
3 sections of 17,000…

– Pastor David Ibiyeomie has become
very important to Dr. Murdock’s heart.
– He’s there with his wife and son in the city
– He has 14 churches there
– the smallest one’s 5,000, his [main] is about 80,000
– He talks very, very little around Dr.
Murdock–ever.
– He flew all the way to Dallas, TX last year
just to spend one day with Dr. Murdock on
his birthday

– So Dr. Murdock gets lil bits of sleep when he can
– And, after seeing the wonderful work of God in
Port Harcourt, and being recognized (because of
his work on tv, the Internet, and Church By Phone)
nearly everywhere he goes…
– it comes time for him to leave for his next stop
in Nigeria
– And the church leaders send him his escort to goto
Uyo, Nigeria, leaving around 10am with brother
Benjamin Andrews, and Pastor Tim Walker, who are
both traveling with him
– they drive through the beautiful
country & beautiful people and arrive
in Uyo, greeted by the church leaders there who immediately drive him around, asking him to anoint various specific spots throughout the city
– there were hundreds of people following the cars–like a parade
– all the cars stopped when Dr. Murdock’s car stopped, and
they were about 2 miles-worth of vehicles just traveling around
with them, anointing the city.
– God gave Dr. Murdock a word for the city of Uyo.
– Bishop David told Dr. Murdock that the apostolic anointing on Dr. Murdock’s life & ministry authorized the people of Uyo to ask Dr. Murdock to anoint the grounds of the city
– And so Dr. Murdock obliged, and entered into a covenant with them to drive back spirits of witchcraft, spirits or error, and to release a real grace on the city

– There is no country on earth that understands The Law of Honor like Nigeria
– Dr. Murdock cannot think of another country that understands honor like Nigeria does.

– There should be, within the next 3-5 years,
the most glorious breakthrough anointing on
this country (Nigeria) politically

– the President of Nigeria came to Dr. Murdock’s service several months back when he visited Wari
– there are members of his security team that are monthly seed-sowers into Dr. Murdock’s ministry
– there are “Daniels” being raised up in Nigeria to speak into the ear of Nigerian leaders

– the anointing is something that’s real
– the anointing isn’t a “feeling”
– it’s a glory, and it’s a destroyer of demon spirits
– that’s why you’ll hear Benny Hinn talking a lot about
protecting & treasuring the anointing that’s on your life

– the church leaders in Uyo put Dr. Murdock in the most beautiful hotel suite
– the suite itself has it’s own meeting room, where they all met with the other ministers and evangelists in Uyo and prayed with them
– Dr. Murdock met one marvelous contact/connection after another in this suite’s meeting room

– Dr. Murdock loves Nigeria and
they value what God’s put in him
– The glory, the receptivity, the passion of these people(!)

– Jesus had strong feelings about where He
was accepted and where He wasn’t
– He reacted swiftly, decisively, and conclusively
– He didn’t wait for a repeat testimony

– On Monday, Dr. Murdock and the Team are flying
to Abuja, the capital of Nigeria.

20130430-002323.jpg

– There’s a little over 300 Million people in America
Nigeria is about 160 Million people,
over 50% of the population of the 50 states in America
– It’s the size of Texas

– if we took half of America (say, 25 States) and put it in Texas, that’d be Nigeria

– The people of Nigeria listen incredibly well

[more added soon…! Please help with any pictures/
video/media you may have of this trip in Nigeria, your
assistance is greatly appreciated.] 🙂

Honor In Nigeria For Dr. Murdock’s 67th Birthday…!

Live from Johannesburg
[Please “reply” if you have
any pictures from Dr.
Murdock’s birthday &
I’ll put them up here!]

In a few days, back to Nigeria

Dr. Murdock, “I am on fire.”

“God has answered prayers…!”

A Surprise Conversation

A Surprise Harvest:

This month, April, has a great
anointing on it for the greatest
harvest of your lifetime.

God talks most to the
man who’ll listen the longest.

Your reaction to the words of God
decides is He’ll keep talking to you.

Obedience qualifies for you
for everything He’s ever promised.

The pastors in Nigeria have
mastered honor more than
any other nation on the earth.

When it comes to communicating
honor, value, gratitude, appreciation,
Nigeria has soared.

On his birthday, the people of
Nigeria sowed thousands of
dollars and just showed extreme
honor and appreciation for Dr. Murdock’s words and teaching.

There is something exciting
when people listen to you.

When someone you love doesn’t
love you back, now you Know how
God feels every day of His life.

But He didn’t stop the banquet,
He just got new participants.

Don’t invest another day,
don’t invest another dollar
into people that don’t believe
in you.

The greatest waves of
ministry are about to begin.

God has talked to Dr. Murdock,
and he listens to God because
God’s words matter to him.

Where you find favor, God is speaking.

“Disfavor” is a Divine voice
too, it’s saying, “Leave.”
Don’t invest another day.
Soil is too rich elsewhere.

Jesus put it this way,
“There’s no fish where you’re fishing.”
“You don’t have to go around
the world. Just go to the other
side of the boat.” 🙂

[sent from COZA…?]

Dr. Murdock: There was a
knock at my door, and in
walked a man who was
dressed like he represented
a king.

Do you have any idea the
break you got when God
became your boss?

That you got the biggest financial breakthrough you could ever imagine?
That when God decided to go into business with you, that failure became
an impossibility? Have you realized that yet…?

So, this man walks in with
the most spectacular briefcase.
[ Along with his father, Dr. Murdock
has a special affinity for briefcases…
to put it lightly 😉 ]
My father loves briefcases. Had he met
a briefcase early enough, him and my
mother would’ve never got married.

[ “Are you fasting,
brother Benjamin?”;-) ]

By the way, life doesn’t just happen. You make
life happen. You are life. The life of God is in you.

I consider the opposite of wisdom to be confusion.
I consider confusion to be the stench of the devil.
If I’m talking to you, and I sense confusion, I will
address it within 1/3rd of a second. I hate it.

So, in walks this young man with all of these different
colored briefcases. And I’m having trouble picking the
one I like the most. First I want the white one, and then
I like the tan one because I love leather. I just love it. I
love the touch, the feel, the look of leather. The suppleness
of leather, I love soft leather. The camel-skin leather. If you
ever go to Beirut, they have the best leather in the world there.

So I like the tan, leather briefcase. And then the crocodile skin
briefcase…! I decide to go with that one. I choose the most
expensive-looking briefcase because I would never spend that
kind of money on myself for my own birthday gift. I have that
Louisiana background–God has to treat me world-class because
I don’t know how to treat myself that well.

I was astounded. I was amazed. And then Dr. Murdock comes back
into his room later and asks Benjamin (who travels everywhere with
Dr. Murdock, and is a wonderful young man), “Benjamin, what are
all these briefcases doing in my room? I was just supposed to select
one.” So I called the pastor and said I’m bringing all of the other
briefcases back to the church when I come tonight. And the pastor
said, No, they’re all for you.

I couldn’t hardly speak. To get one is nice enough.

And then during the offering, the people took up
over $4,000 and put all of that money in another
briefcase(!).

People gave me pictures, pastors gave me offerings.

Dr. Murdock says, “It made the Wisdom Center look
like a dungeon. Like the pit.”

And then on my birthday, there were 75 pastors, the
choir was singing Mike Murdock songs…

[Pastor Tim Walker joins the call to reaffirm and to
elaborate on the wonderful, amazing event]:

…”I Love Sitting At Your Feet” & “Holy Spirit”. They
transformed an ordinary meeting/banquet room
into something spectacular. There were wonderfully
fragrant candles, with pearl necklaces on them.

[It just sounds like their overflow of honor
and servanthood spilled out into their expression
of gratitude for the man of God, Dr. Mike Murdock.
What an abundantly appropriate reward for a
birthday spent serving God!]

Just one after another, leaders and pastors got up
to share their gratitude. There was one bishop,
in particular, who came up and said thank you
to Dr. Murdock for not letting success stop him.

It was a “red-carpet” event, with pastors, leaders,
Generals, and just a “who’s-who” showing. There
was an extravagant buffet all along a wall, with a
banner hanging over it with Dr. Murdock’s picture.
And it said that Dr. Murdock was one of God’s
Generals.

They had a video presentation–and not only that, but
there were plasma tvs at each table, where then everybody
was able to have a good seat to view the video presentation.

There was “movers and shakers”in the Kingdom of God
in attendance. There were several pastors, that Pastor Tim
overheard, that said, “Can you believe _________ just
walked in??”

Pastor Tim, who’s 39 years old (but has “60 years
of experience 😉 ), commented that he has never
seen that dimension of honor before anywhere.

The level of favor that has opened up, and is now
shining on Dr. Murdock’s life–the harvest of favor–
is at an amazing, astounding height.

And it’s an honor to be connected to this anointing.

Remember:

What you make happen for others, God will make happen for you.

If you’re complaining, thinking, Wait a minute. I want this favor!
No one’s buying my lunch…

Well, how many lunches, and how
many dinners are you buying for others?

Soil does matter.

You can’t just scatter your seed everywhere.

Some of us have been sowing like we’re sowing with a shotgun.

That doesn’t work, we have to have accuracy with our seed.

We sow with accuracy.

Give your seed an assignment.

Dr. Murdock really is a “mentor to the masses.”

Thank you, Church By Phone, for sending Dr. Murdock
around the world, and to Africa, to Nigeria.

Thank you for showing your gratitude, and for being
connected to this anointing. Thank you for being
connected to Dr. Murdock’s life.

You are a part of the results.

It wouldn’t hurt you to go back over your notes
from Church By Phone over the last 6-9 months.

And see what you may have missed
God saying, through Dr. Murdock, to you.

You can miss a moment. What a great tragedy
when you realize you’ve missed a moment.

A declaration:

[Pastor Tim]

I declare and decree:

You’re going to revisit lost moments.

And God, somehow, some way–because of wisdom,
because of insight, because of the spirit of revelation–
God is going to revisit you and allow you to revisit
missed opportunities.

And it could be the greatest harvest of your lifetime.

It could be a person, a business contact, someone, something–
-a missed opportunity–and you’re going to (be able to) revisit it.

God will restore what the cancor worm has destroyed.

But we have to move.

We have to declare it.

We have to catch the thief.

There’s things that we have to do.

God’s not going to do it all for us.

We have to activate the laws of God.

And say, “I’m going to get back the hijacked harvests!”

If you knew the harvests that had been stolen, the people
that’ve been trying to paint horrible pictures of you, it’d
blow your mind.

But listen family, you have more going for you than against you.

And you need to ask the Holy Spirit to open your eyes
with fresh eyes of wisdom, to see what you’re not seeing–
to see what you’ve been missing. To hear what you’re not
hearing.

Someone is always seeing what you’re not seeing.

And when you’re going through a season of disappointment,
the closest heart that you need to be connected to is the heart
of God.

Something else about disappointment:

You have to wait for your emotions to
heal before you make major decisions.

Don’t make any major decisions–wait.

God is going to heal someone’s emotions
on this Church By Phone.

And don’t quit before the next one comes.

Don’t try to rush what’s being born.

It takes 9 months for a baby to arrive.

Your connection can come through
“a friend of a friend…”.

God’ll put “dream team” people in your life,
in your path. But you need to recognize who
those people are.

God will use the disappointment to teach you, and
will bring you out. A great season of surprise
conversations will come.

Move forward when the next opportunity comes up.

[ Dr. Murdock rejoins the call]

Wow, God was on you–you [Pastor Tim] were
saying some very important keys.

Some words are doors, some words are keys.

Some words are windows. Some words are walls.

Some things stop you, some things start you.

Some things accelerate you.

6pm, 7pm, and 8pm–the team should go to the
phone trees and see if the phone trees [?] are there
to be emailed out.

[phone trees are for when Dr. Murdock
has something spectacular to share…?]

Dr. Murdock decided that he wanted well-dressed
people around him because “life’s too short for ugly.”

You don’t need to schedule in any extra ugly, it’ll show up.

Schedule in beauty.

God made beauty, satan made ugly.

Dr. Murdock saw a man in Nigeria dressed excellently
and remarked to brother Benjamin, That’s how I want
the people at the Wisdom Center dressed!

God is meticulous, and ceremonial.

Look at the universe.

Look at the stripe on the skunk!

The spectacular should be designed, not hoped for.

At the airport in Lagos, Nigeria:

They held the giant plane up for an hour (the pilot was a
partner of Dr. Murdock’s ministry), and people were
running up to him, “Would you sign my book?”. They
were stuffing money into his pockets, “I’ve got to sow
a seed…I’ve got to sow a seed…!”.

And when he got to the plane, he didn’t have his boarding pass,
brother Benjamin may’ve had his passport….

And the man on the plane asked him for his boarding pass, and Dr.
Murdock said, “I have no idea. I’ll find it later.” Now, he’d never even
been let on a plane before without his boarding pass…

And he went and took a seat in the rear, near the exit, where there
was some open seating. A flight attendant came up to him shortly
after that, “Are you Mike Murdock?” Yes… “I am so sorry…” and
they brought him up into first class….

He wasn’t there but for a moment when a man came up and knelt
beside him, “I’m a pastor, and I received an email from your sister
that today was your birthday,” and he pulled out three 100-dollar bills.
“Tell her, thank her, for telling me that today was your birthday.”….

Here comes the flight attendant, kneeling down, “Would you pray for
me? I know the power of your prayers…”…

Then the head pilot, Captain Samuel ______
“Sir, I want you to know first that I’m where I am
today because of the $58 seed….” ….

An excellent experience and lesson in honor from Nigeria…

5 Things That Can Change Your Life In A Day

Mon 04-08-13
Church By Phone

When God stirs you over a topic or
instruction, something that inspires
you, seize it.

Embrace, grab, take a hold of, pursue it.

When He reveals a special word to you,
a “rhema” word, a “now” word, an
understanding that’s greatly
magnified in your heart.

It’s my responsibility to find
inspiration in the world He created.

It’s nobody else’s responsibility
to inspire, or encourage me.

It’s my responsibility to inspire myself.

Dr. Murdock is heading out to
Nigeria tomorrow [today, April 9th]

The difference between
seasons is a conversation.

5 Things That Can Change Your Life Today

notes

1) A conversationZacchaeus had a
conversation with Jesus, and it
changed his life in a day.
– Don’t look a life as something to
endure, look at it as something to enter
>> you enter a zone, every morning,
every hour, every day
>> you can change your life in a
few seconds: you’ve just got to hate
where you are to enter where
you want to be
>> you’ll always adapt what you
can and what you will, you’ll
stay in a comfort zone
– a conversation can change
your life in a day
>> you may be required to
initiate the conversation
– When people say, “Don’t judge me”,
that’s a stupid thing to say
>> of course you judge each other
>> the Bible even says, “Judge yourself,”
so others won’t have to
>> judging simply means to assess
your conduct, effort, behavior
– take action, have initiative
– Zaccheus took initiative
– the woman with the issue of blood,
the blind man who cried out to Jesus–
they had initiative
– the first two letters of “God”,
“Gospel”, “good” = “Go”!
– A-S-K – He didn’t say “wait”,
He said, “Ask…”
>> Well, if you don’t ask,
what do you do, wait?
>> No! Seek…knock…!
>> Three levels of passion
– you may have to
initiate a conversation
– don’t ever owe a debt,
and act like you don’t
– if you owe someone money
& you’re out of work, you
just became their employee,
their “servant”
– What kind if conversation
should you initiate?
>> Apologies
>> Explanations
>> Confession
– To change your favor with God,
enter into conversation with Him
>> there’s a lot of ways to talk to God:
> Something you say, helping someone,
something you do, something you sow

Don’t you want to change your life?
Do you want to improve your life?
Do you want to excel?

Where should there be a conversation?

Conversation that demonstrates honor.

Do you know who you are talking to?
>> Upward, downward, or laterally?

The person who is the senior–
the senior person at any table
is authorized to guide the conversation.

Not the youngest. The 4 year-old does
not guide the conversation at the table.

There’s a place of authority.

If you have dishonored your wife,
there needs to be a conversation.

Initiate it.

I wait for very little.

Those who wait have very
little desire, little passion.

“Good things come to those
who wait,” is an imbecilic,
satanic ploy–have you
ever heard that?

“Waiting upon the Lord” has
nothing to do with delaying
activity, or decisions.

Most prayers are wasted
because God’s not waiting
for you to make a prayer,
He’s waiting for you to
make a decision.

Prayer is often used to delay
the potential bad decision
that we don’t want to make.

People say they’re “waiting on God”, when
He said, “Seek and you shall find”. He never
said, “wait and you shall find”.

You want to change your life in a day?

Start talking.

  • Talk upward to those you
    need to show honor to.
  • Talk downward to those
who need to be trained by you.
  • Talk laterally to those who
    need to work with you.

You’re going to have to initiate
a conversation to create
changes in your life.

How long are you going to have
to wait at the Exxon station
before God puts gas in your car? 😉

There’s things you’ve gotta do, right?

Well, then do ’em.

Shut up and do ’em.

Shut up and do them.

Do what you’re supposed to do.

Do it, and do it with excellence.

Do it with all your heart.

Do it with all your might.

What conversation is
missing in a relationship?

What conversation have you
failed to have with your upline?
(with those in authority over
your life).

Are you waiting for invisible mentorship
to pierce the airwaves [earways?] of those
under your training?

Archbishop Marguerite Idahosa:
Her husband was known as Archbishop
Benson Idahosa.

Dr. Murdock had known
Benson Idahosa for 34 years.
He was a wonderful man of God.

Years ago, there was a public
outcry over an incident in Nigeria
where the Vice President of
Nigeria said, Nigeria is a
Muslim nation b/c everyone
in Nigeria knew that they were
a Christian nation.

Some of the leaders said, We’re
going to go pray about this, and
The Archbishop Benson Idahosa
said, We are not going to go
pray. That issue is too little for
God to handle. He put us in charge
of matters on the earth. We’re going
to take care of this.

And he got on the phone to the Vice
President of Nigeria and persuaded
him to publicly apologize and recant
his statement.

Have you ever heard someone say,
“There’s no problem too small for God” ?

What a stupid, idiotic, ridiculous statement.
You want God killing the roach in your room?
You want God putting cheese in your rat traps?

Dr. Murdock:
I like clear conversation.
I don’t like “slither”.
I’m very adversarial to deceivers.
I don’t permit life.
I decide it.
I don’t permit what will happen to me,
I decide what I want to happen in my life.
That’s God commandment to us.
He’s given us responsibility to our territory.

What is the territory God has
assigned for you to govern?

What is the turf that
requires your attentiveness?

And what are you doing about it?

You need to have some conversations
with the people under you.

You need to go back and say,
What did I instruct you to do?

– Remember: Ruth changed her life with
one conversation that made her “Mrs. Boaz”

The 2nd thing that can
change your life in a day…

2) One act of servanthood
– Look at Rebecca:
>> She changed her life when she
noticed an old man needed attention
>> She offered him water…
– Servanthood is a seed
– Servanthood is proof of character
– When servanthood becomes an
obsession with you, to host the
people around you, the “fragrance”
of a servant comes upon you until
the servant actually becomes the
master….
– Almost nobody grasps this, but:
>> The person who serves the best
becomes the authority in the
environment (meditate on that)
– Rebecca was an incredible woman,
and she looked at Eleazar, the Chief
liaison for Abraham (and Isaac) &
said, Can I also water your camels?
>> There’s money, there’s blessing
where those camels are going
– If you want to change your life in
a day, start serving

Who’s pain can you remove?

3) Confession
– I’m sorry
– It did for the thief hanging next to Jesus
– Don’t argue about how
right or wrong you are
– One confession can turn
chaos into promotion
– See: the publican vs the pharisee
– confession stops prosecution

4) Obedience to an instruction

[example] Part of Dr. Murdock’s testimony:

At 4:30pm on a Wednesday afternoon,
God gave him an instruction. Something
he had never done. God gave it to him
thru somebody else. It was about sowing
seed. God said, Do it by 10pm tonight.

In 24 hours [after following the instruction],
God had blessed him with more money than
he had ever had in his life.

By 72 hours, God had given him enough
money to buy a beautiful Cessna Citation
jet–a jet, cash.

When you ask God for a future,
He’ll give you an instruction.

An instruction is a bridge to the
dreams that you’re talking about.

The difference between where you are
and where you want to be is an instruction.

And the bridge is never long–it’s instant.

God doesn’t take you on a long bridge.

The prodigal son’s bridge was long because
he decided to take his life into the pigpen.

5) A seed

Use your seed for conversation.

– My seed is my “talker”.
>> My seed talks to God for me.

My seed is my ambassador
for me into my future.

My seed is the only voice
my future will obey.

My future whimpers for
instruction at the foot of my seed.

My seed rules my world.

I use my seed to talk to
God about what I need,
what I want, and what
I expect.

– see Pastor Howard Hogan (83 years old)
>> a confidant of Dr. Murdock’s

He told Pastor Hogan, I have lost money
in everything but God. I’ve lost over $30,000
in oil wells. I listened to a banker and lost
$250,000 in mutual funds in one year.

Warren Buffett said, “Never invest in something
that you don’t want to know a lot about.”

By the way, a “bullish” market is on its way up.
(think: the horns on a bull are pointing “up”)

A “bear” market is trending down.

There’s a $500,000 money market
in Heaven today for one listener
of Church By Phone.

Dr. Dave Martin :
– Have Dave Martin speak in your church, if you
want to have a financial breakthrough.
>> Dr. Dave Martin and his wife, Christina–after
an instruction from Dr. Murdock to plant a $500
seed (they had $503 to their name at the time)–
planted a $500 seed. 10 days later, Christina
was shopping at Wal-Mart & they just happened
to be filming a commercial that would use the
Wal-Mart security cameras. The Martins have
since received thousands and thousands of
dollars from the residual checks off of that
commercial–specifically, off of the $500
seed that they had planted after being
obedient to a man of God’s instruction.

[prayer]
Father, I ask you for 10 people to plant a $500 seed and to have the most electrifying revelation of seed time and harvest. When we ask you for a harvest, You ask us for a seed. When we ask you for a harvest, You give us an instruction. What You did for Christina–what you did for Dr. David Martin, because of one seed of obedience. Father, I ask You for 10 obedient seeds for the Kingdom of God.

Father, there are some listening right now–You have given them an instruction that they have not yet obeyed–Father, give them Holy Ghost courage to obey that instruction with expectation of a harvest. For the glory of God, I decree it. For the glory of God!

Father, while I am in Nigeria, give these 10 people 10 days of surprise conversations, and cause them to journal these surprise conversations. For the glory of God, it is done. Praise God!

Praise God!

A Surprise Conversation #6 – Expect A Divine Encounter

A Surprise Conversation
Sunday night 04-07-13
Church By Phone

Praise God.

Hello family.

Pastor Jeremy Mills (at the Wisdom Center)
and Miss Amy Lira are joining us on the call:

And they’re going to share about “a surprise conversation”.

Dr. Murdock says he’s feeling our prayers. 🙂

Yesterday, flew to Tulsa, OK and had a 1-hour mtg
with the ministry’s partners.

And then flew on to Kansas City, MO

Where Chris & his Pastor, Robert Malone.
Michael Salazar’s father brought his car
and Michael, his wife, and father were
just a blessing.

An hour and 45minutes late, Dr. Murdock
got to Omaha, NE at 8:45pm, and
everybody waited, and they went til 10:15pm.

Pastor Kenneth Davis is a fire-house for God,
what a blessing this morning.

Dr. Murdock would like for us to pray over the
North Korea threat, and for our leaders.

By the way, tomorrow Dr. Murdock will launch his
podcast – where he’ll do his “World View”
>> He’s a very keen viewer of world events.
>> There’s more going on than we know.
>> But there could be a surprise conversation
that silences this.

Dr. Murdock asks that we come into agreement with
him that the Lord “let the disloyal bring disruption”.

Father, I come boldly to Your throne tonight on behalf of
our world. I ask You to give President Obama, all of the
leaders connected to the Free World. Put a “Daniel” close
to their ear. We come into covenant that the shield of
loyalty would be stripped from North Korea. Take the lid
off the mutiny–and let there be such a stripping away of
protection, that this escalation of hatred towards South
Korea–I ask for a swift interception of their nuclear threat.
I ask, in the Name of Jesus, that a Christian intercede.
We ask that you would silence this demonic man that is
full of demon spirits. Give the President of South Korea
great wisdom. Give courage to our President Obama. And
allow him to be bold–and cover with the Blood, our Christians
in Israel, our Christians in South Korea. I ask that You give
the Christians in South Korea profound wisdom, knowing that
their brethren around the world are praying for them. We’ve
got preachers right now in South Korea under constant threat.
I ask that you give protection to the underground churches
in China. Father, I ask that every leader in China would
have an awakening of their conscience–and of every man
that’s ever been in Your Presence. I decree surprise conversations
in South Korea. I decree surprise conversations in Jesus’s Name.
Amen. Praise God.

It’s real important to learn how to talk to God effectively.

If you’re going to be effective, be clear–be specific in what you want.

Just like “taking the hedge” of protection off of North Korea.

A word is a “door” or a “wall”.

Every word you speak is a door or a wall.

Your conversations close doors or they open doors.

Develop a meticulous sensitivity about what you discuss with God.

Dr. Murdock’s asked Pastor Jeremy, and
Miss Amy Lira to join us here on Church By Phone.

By the way, in the next 48 hours, until Dr. Murdock leaves
Tuesday, any partner who sows a seed of $100 or more
on the website will receive the entire collection on a
Surprise Conversation.

You are one conversation away
from a miracle every day of your life.

God schedules miracles by conversations of expectation.

The well of Samaria–an entire city was saved.

One conversation took place with Phillip.

Spirit-filled men initiate conversation.

Spirit-filled leaders initiate questions.

Remember: a question is a door.

Until you ask questions, others control your life.

Nothing matters as much as a question.

A question proves your passion, documents your honor.
A question is proof of humility because it proves you’re
reaching. And a reacher creates changes.

The most helpless human in the world is a non-reacher.

You can create a suprise conversation with an apology.

You can call somebody you owe a debt to, have a surprise
conversation and ask to change the details of the contract.

Every husband should have a surpirse conversation with his wife
to explain the secrets of his heart.

I know that every person cannot be trusted.

You must be careful of trusting the wrong person:
99% of the problems in life come through trusting
an unworthy person.

Don’t trust the wrong person with your secrets.

But there’s something very powerful about a surprise conversation.

…tonight is critial for somebody.

A surprise conversation can stop a suicide attempt.
A surprise conversation can stop pain, remove cancer.
A surprise conversation can take the cloud of depression
off of your life.

Dr. Murdock doesn’t do well with silence.
He longs for meaningful, trustworthy, significant conversation.

Is there anything more satisfying than a meaningful conversation
with someone you can trust?

The most comforting place on earth is in the presence of
a non-dangerous person.

You may need to reassure somebody.

God gave Dr. Murdock a surprise conversation
about “The Timothy House”.

Hank & Brenda Kunneman
>> Oral Roberts said that Hank Kunneman
was the most accurate prophet he had met
during his lifetime.

Hank told Dr. Murdock at lunch that there would be
a paradigm shift in his ministry:

The Timothy House:
>> Where his interns would live and train for minstry.

Within 90 days, God will give Dr. Murdock
A Timothy House to train Holy Ghost people
for the ministry.

A surprise conversation. 🙂

Hallelulajah!
Father, I claim surprise conversations in the next 48 hours
unlike anything we’ve had. Somebody’s husband is going to
come home and take his rightful place as the leader of that
household. Somebody’s going to have a conversation in the
next 7 days, with a college, they’re going to receive a
scholarship worth thousands and thousands of dollars.
Somebody’s about to get a raise because of a surprise
conversation.

Father, I ask You to receive our seeds for the Gospel. Between
now and Tuesday night, receive every seed planted on the website–
every seed planted in The Wisdom Center. Every seed–give us
A surprise conversation as our #1 harvest, in Jesus’s Name, for
Your glory. Amen.

To sow (besides Button 8 on the website), call:

The Scriptural number for “New”, “change”, “creativity” is “8”

There is somebody that has a reveleation about “The
Timothy House”. This is a God-thing with you. Someone
has a Word from God–not speculation. Drop a private
word to his email: DrMike@churchbyphone.com

Yes, he will be live tomorrow evening at 9pm CST.

Miss Amy Lira, just turned 21 years old, God has put
a remarkable mantle of wisdom on her life:

The surprise conversation is so huge, and she’s seen the glory
of it take place right in front of her. She says, “It is just God’s
way of showing off.”

Dr. Murdock:
It’s a believable harvest.
I like to only pray about things I can believe.
So I pick out a harvest that’s very believable for my faith.
I work with my faith, whether it’s at a “2” or a “10”
Because God doesn’t use His love to sculpture your future–
He uses my faith to build my future.
God uses my pain to create a change.
And God works with my faith to create a change.
Faith creates every significant change.
And any conversation that unleashes your faith is working for you.
Doubt creates losses as quickly as faith creates multiplication.

The Timothy House – where the interns will live

Somebody just got an answer to prayer:
Somebody just got an answer as to where
they leave their money when they die…

“A surprise conversation to me, is really about opportunity…”
You never know who’s going to slip into your life and have
conversation with you.
And God always works through people.
If we can learn to discern–divine–a supernatural, surprise,
conversation, will lead us into the future God has created
for us. Our future is going to come through the Divine seed
of surprise conversation.

What Dr. Murdock is teaching us tonight is extremely
critical in the lives of the believer.

Whenever God does something, He’s going to speak.
And when He speaks to us (through a man or a woman
of God) we must learn to discern that.
A surprise conversation happens through the Divine
windows of Heaven being opened. And as God begins
to speak to us–as we embrace that conversation–it’s
there, whatever God has prepared for us.
For our future.
For our healing.
For our prosperity.
Whatever it might be.
With Divine conversation, you can think of so many things:
Divine access – the access it takes to be before a man of God.
The surprise conversation that Abraham had with God, when
he began to intercede on behalf of a nation. Look at the Divine
opportunity he had to speak with God–there was Divine judgement
on the way. God was literally walking the earth, to see if that
which He had in His heart, He was going to fulfill.

We know today that we can “come boldly to the throne of grace.”

We understand the power of intercession.

If we can embrace what the power of intercession can do–
look at Abraham’s conversation with God:
He knocked down the number to a small amount of righteous
people to withold judgement from an entire nation.
We can learn to intercede for nations.

Remember, after Jesus had risen from the dead, on
the Road to Emmaus.

We’d really be surprised to learn Who is listening in on
our conversations.

Are we communicating faith, victory?

Jesus said, “You slow to believe, didn’t you read what
the prophets had written?”
The disciples on the road, their conversation didn’t believe
the Word of God–it wasn’t full of faith.
And as disciples, we’ve got to keep our faith high.
Point your speech back to the Word of God.

Through Divine, surprise conversation–it is always
a mirror of our own walk with God.

“I just love the fact that [surprise conversations] are so tangible.”
In John 4 it talks about the surprise conversation with
the Samaritan woman.

And at the well, Jesus offered her an opportunity,
The woman’s world was changed completely.
She became an evangelist out of that conversation.
And if you receive the opportunity, God will change your life.
Be sensitive to the surprise conversation.
It’s so unexpected.
God says, “If you’re willing. I’ll show off…!”

Those who ask the questions determine the quality of the conversation.

Jesus opened up the conversation at the well with a question.

If we can be sensitive to what God has for us in surprise conversations.

[
Pastor Jeremy #2
]

The surprise conversation of the shepherd men
who went to visit the Baby Jesus.

“And I don’t know about you, but I’m so ready to
embrace the supernatural of God.”

Believe for supernatural conversation and confrontation.

Whether it be for angelic visitation that will help you
find your way in the kingdom.

There are so many “suddenlys”–surprise conversation
is every where.

And through Divine angelic conversation, these men who were
shepherding their flock went and saw Jesus just after he was born.

Perk our ears and perk our sensitivity to supernatural
conversation.

This is part of the Kingdom:
“you might entertain angels”

Suprise conversation.

Get ready for these kinds of conversations, because
God is always sending information our way.

Everything God does is information.

Open up our minds, open up our hearts for
God to communicate to us Divinely, supernaturally,
swiftly–through people just knocking on our door.

Pastor Jeremy had a surprise conversation 6-7 months
ago when he was in need of money, provision.

He had a car parked in his driveway that he wasn’t using,
and someone, just “out of the blue”–without any promotion
whatsoever–came up to his door and asked him if he was
selling that car. He said, “Well, as a matter of fact, I am…” 🙂

And within a few days, the title was signed over, and there
was cash in his hand, and God had met his need.

Through a surprise conversation.

Begin to expect Divine, supernatural, surprise conversation.

It’s how God works, it’s how He will continue.

Expect God to drop people into your life that bring Divine,
supernatural encounter, that will help to correct your life,
supply your need, do whatever is necessary.

God’s going to deliver it to you.

Surprise conversation.

It’s going to come and it’s going to give you the
information that you need. It’ll be the seed of
instruction that you need.

And God’ll do it swiftly, speedily, slipping it right
into your life–give you the surprise encounter
that you need. The Divine instruction that you need.

And He has promised it “to them that believe”.

You look at Dr. Murdock: his life has been full of
surprise conversation. People slipping right up to
him. Seed out of “nowhere” to bless his life.

Surprise conversation.

God is into surprise conversation.

We need to believe.

Let your faith and hope be built because God’s got
your need in mind, and He’s sending to you that
which you need.

Open up your ears and your mind, get your attitude right
that those you’re going to speak with–that God, when He
brings that Divine favor into your life; that you’re
approaching it correctly. And that those that you’re speaking
with, the Divine favor and people that God has appropriated
for your life will slip right in.

Prepare.

Get your expectation high.

It’s the hope, and the Biblical hope that we have–
this expectation for God to slip into your life, from
nowhere.

Our expectation can be high that you will have the conversation
that you need with God, from God, expect the conversation
you need to slip into your life, and God will open every door
that’s necessary for your life.

And it happens through surprise conversation.

We need to bless God for it.

We, by faith, need to embrace it.

God knows exactly where you’re at–what’s going on.

Allow Him to usher it into your life.

Divine, supernatural provision.

Divine, supernatural words, revelation.

God’s got it. We need to expect it.

And expect it through a surpirse conversation.

Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah!

Glory to God, glory to God.

[
Miss Amy #3
]

Praise God.

Get excited with anticipation.

One of her greatest surprise conversations was when
she traveled to Monterey, Mexico to be with Dr.
Murdock and the School of Wisdom to support him.

She’d prior spoken to her parents, saying, “I really feel
that the Holy Spirit wants me to go to this meeting.”
So they prayed about it, and talked about it, they
supported her, and she went on that trip.

Going home, she had two options:
1) Go to another city in Mexico where her family was or
2) Go through Dallas / Ft. Worth airport & then goto church
that weekend.

She had just had a surprise conversation with Pastor
Monica Melgar, and Pastor Monica said, “Why don’t you
stay here for the week? We’ll make this week count.”

That week turned into a month, a year–and she never
went back home, but instead made Ft. Worth her new
home, and her parents even packed up her things from
her (old) home in Indianapolis, IN.

It changed her life forever.

There’s so many conversations that soothe, that
heal, that mend–conversations are a minstry.

They’re to ourselves, to each other, to our families.

Conversations are what preserve a relationship.
Conversations are so rich, but yet we take them
for granted–but they’re so profound.

The way God moves…

The way God can place people in our lives.

Church family, as this week is coming to a close, meditate about who the people are that you’re having a surprise conversation with.

Be sensitive to the voice of the Spirit.

Inventory your conversations.

Purge your environment of anything that could diminish those conversations.

Be in your secret place.

So much of what God does is because of our expectation.

God is just looking for a vessel willing to trust in Him.

[Pastor Jeremy]

Expectation is the beginning of our belief in God.

Expectation is necessary.

Believe for the impossible.

Let God be God in that area in your life.

9-10 months ago, God began to deal with Pastor Jeremy about a $1,000 seed. He was in the pulpit of his father’s church and really thought it was about somebody in tge audience. And it was just money that he did not have.

Then a few months later, Pastor Jeremy heard again from God about giving the $1,000 seed. He had just over $1,000 to his name. And he planted the $1,000 seed.

Your seed a schedules Divine, surprise conversation.

Everything God does, He does on a schedule–He is ordered.

After Pastor Jeremy planted that seed, things began to develop.

He got connected to Dr. Mike Smalley through his protege conferences, and eventually got up the courage to ask Dr. Smalley if he’d come and speak at Pastor Jeremy’s church in a small town in Iowa.

And he agreed to come, and Dr. Smalley came and shared and blessed Pastor Jeremy and his church.

About 2 months after Pastor Jeremy had planted the $1,000 seed (into his father’s church), he received a phone call from Dr. Mike Smalley. He had spoken with Pastor Jeremy previously about possibly working with Dr. Murdock, who was a hero to Pastor Jeremy, and he had thought to himself at the time, Well yes, that’d be a dream come true for anybody, to work for one of their dream-heroes.

And through seed that was sown, it created a Divine, surprise, supernatural conversation–to the point where Pastor Jeremy was called up out of nowhere(!) and Dr. Smalley called and said, “Brother Jeremy, can you make it up to The Wisdom Center tomorrow? Dr. Murdock is there and he would love to meet you.”

Pastor Jeremy said, “Yes, sir, I would love to be there!”

And he showed up there the next day, they gave him a time, they had a spot for him to sit, and a meeting with Dr. Murdock was scheduled….!

And his whole world–from a seed–his whole environment was completely, miraculously changed.

God is always the Supplier of surprise conversations.

Ladies and gentlemen, we need to be mindful of the words that we’re saying, because God is listening.

He’s monitoring our faith.
He’s monitoring our doubt.

Everything we do is conversation.

A conversation of our heart to our mind.

[A conversation between our mind, and our decisions]

Everything is conversation.

And as we obey God, He schedules Divine conversation with those that we need to be connected with.

Pay close attention to the conversation that you’re sending forth.

God is looking or grounds to bless us.
[“How much more…?]

But many times we simply have not qualified for his intended blessings.

And Pastor Jeremy’s present life–being connected to Dr. Murdock [teaching and preaching to us on Church By Phone right now]–is all the result of listening to God, and planting a seed.

Seed schedules a Divine conversation.

And we’re thankful for it tonight.

[Dr. Murdock begins speaking]

Praise God…!

Dr. Murdock is going to be publishing a book on this material of “a surprise conversation”.

Pastor Kunneman earlier [on Sunday] pulled out Dr. Murdock’s book “A Young Minister’s Handbook”, which he’d written in his mid-thirties. And Pastor Kunneman also pulled out a 1st-edition copy of the book “Dream Seeds”, which Dr. Murdock had written 27 year ago (1986-87).

In that book, Dr. Murdock shares about the conversation that God had with him about the pain that he’d had in his life, and what would come out of it–because he’d wanted to leave the ministry.

There’s thousands of preachers today who have stayed in the ministry, or returned to the ministry, because of a surprise conversation.

And The Lord has emphasized the “positive” side of the surprise conversation, so that’s what we’ll focus on.

You’re one conversation away from a radical change in your life.

Joy is one conversation away.

Ask the woman at the well of Samaria.

The healing of an incurable disease is one conversation away:
– read Dr. Lester Sumerall’s life story
– read Oral Roberts’s story about the healing of his tuberculosis

There was a little house-maiden who lived in the house of Namaan, the Assyrian leper (who was also a General).

The surprise conversation may come from someone who is below your economic standard.

Don’t ever think that mentorship is downward.

Don’t ever think that the protege is inferior to the mentor.

Rather, it has to do with the process of information, knowledge, understanding.

The house-maiden emptied the trash, mopped the floors–but mentored Namaan on how to get his healing.

The surprise conversation came from below the economic standard.

It is a God thing that conversation may come from any direction of your life.

It may come from a child–like Samuel, who heard the voice of God and thought it was the voice of the High Priest, Eli, who was the mentor for Samuel chosen by his mother, Hannah.

By the way, we want to do a shout-out for Hannah Faith Griffin.

That’s Prophet Marquez’s, along with Marguerite, his wife’s beautiful, beautiful baby girl , who was just born.

We decree and declare angels surrounding that child.

But God spoke to the young child, Samuel.

Your conversation may come late at night, when nobody’s around.

You may be the only person that receives that surprise conversation.

A surprise conversation may be regarding the future of somebody that you love.

A surprise conversation may need to be kept discreet, quiet.

Like Jonathan and David, where Jonathan couldn’t tell his father Saul that he knew where David was hiding.

A surprise conversation is always for your protection.

A Surprise Conversation #5…!

A Surprise Conversation

Dr. Murdock has a passion
to teach us the Laws of God

When God does something
good for you, it’s natural to
want to pour it out into others.

Jesus says, “Freely you
have received, freely give.”

We entered the
world as receivers:
We received life
We received love, affection, caring
Somebody held us
Somebody stroked us
Somebody kissed us
Somebody laughed,
and smiled at us

That’s how we
got here this far.

It’s taken the contributions
of many people to develop
you to where you are today.

The more you understand that,
the more thankful you’ll become.

The more thankful you become,
the more you’ll attract good things
from people that’ll want to sow into
where they’ll see a return on their
investment >> ROMI:
Return On My Investment

It’s a very strong
core of God’s view.

It is a philosophy, but it’s one
that you’ll have to understand.

It’s why when Jesus told the
parable of the men with the
talents: one had 10, another
had 5, another 1 — it’s why
God was so angry when He
did not see a return on His
investment [with the one]

Tonight, we’re going to
continue to go over:

A Surprise Conversation

notes

You can create it by reaching for God
You can create it when you repent.

God impressed Dr. Murdock that this
Surprise Conversation is so powerful
because it’s believable–it merely takes a mustard-
seed sized bit of faith to move a mountian.

[
Opening
prayer]
Holy Spirit I thank You today for a magnificent, magnificent, incredible, glorious, glorious world of miracles that we’ve entered into when we accepted You as our Savior, our Master, our Lord. There was instant reaction from You…when we reached for You, You breathed life into us. An indescribable peace. Such a glory, in fact, that some of us were mesmerized, and didn’t know how to resond to You. Some of us wept, and cried. Some of us had prayer-language experiences with You–almost in a trance.

We did not know how to respond to You. All we knew is that there was an unspeakable change in our hearts. Thank You, Holy Spirit for our brethren, for our friends. And I pray for those involved in different belief systems. That’s all they know. They will not know you unless you go and visit them and touch them.
I ask You in the Name of Jesus to breathe fresh air, breathe deep conviction, breathe revelation on every atheist in America between now and April the 9th. I ask you Lord for surprise conversations. Surprise conversations.

Lord it’s up to You–schedule. Lord, stir us to initiate surprise conversations that bring radical changes in our lives. We are puzzled over your interest in us. We’ve been told that its just a psychological reaction of humans. We’re learning how to choose the picture we believe–choose the promise we are wanting in that moment. Lord, give us such a glorious picture of what You want us to become. We want to be authentic. Really true to the original picture You had of us. We’re open–desperate even–to Your Word. We have an intense passion to walk in truth. We want our faith to be contagious. To light up the darkness in us. We want to walk in solidarity, strong, purposeful. Savor ing, tasting the glorious wine of the Spirit–the glorious provision of Your Presence. We’re starved for You ,Lord. We’re receivers of Your blood, mercy, forgiveness, Your warnings, cautions. We’re receivers of the guardian angels You’ve placed around believers. We believe. Amen. Amen. Praise God. Praise God.

Everything God does is through talking.
He called Himself the Word.

Death and life are in the power of the tongue.
The Tongue, A Creative Force by Charles Capps

Speak what God said instead of what you think.

Napoleon Hill

The laws by which we govern our lives is different than just an experience with us.

The “kitchen” is different than the “bathroom”.
>> the “kitchen” of the ministry (TD Jakes)
– Where you create the food is different from where you eat the food.

The Kingdom of God is like that…

There are God encounters that are glorious, wonderful
But the laws of the Kingdom require obedience to receive the fruit of that law

Broken laws have an attraction to the flesh

Psalms 112 (it has been on Dr. Murdock’s mind today…)

This is where God began to show him the laws of God

The Law of Focus

The Law of Relationship

Somebody knows what you don’t know

The business world calls it “networking”

God does everything through conversation

A sermon, confession, prayer — all are conversation

Every conversation is a seed – a seed for faith, or a seed for unbelief

The effect, the fruit of doubt and unbelief is generational
>> you don’t have to get bitten from 1,000 snakes to die
>> you don’t need but 1 lie to go from paradise to the pit

There’s a ludicrous statement that says, “It’ll all just work out.”
– What??

Look at what’s happened through conversation.

Look thru history at surprise conversations.

Civil Rights

Rosa Parks had a surprise conversation .

She refused to give up her seat.

People came here (to the United States) for freedom of religion
Somewhere along the line it devolved

But we have slavery (not servants, but slaves that were like property, or cattle…)

Somebody started to have a conversation about this.

We got into a Divine conversation and our values, our character radically changed.

Around 1900 on Azusa St in LA, CA
– men found themselves prostrate on the floor, speaking out all these sounds from their lips

What is this

“This is that which was spoken by the prophet, Joel…”

William Brannum

Oral Roberts

Jack Coe

There’s going to be 10 days of surprise conversations

Focus births blindness.
If you’re focused north, you can’t see other directions.

So we need others to help us to see things that we can’t.

God will send somebody with a surprise conversation/confrontation
>> like the prophet who knocked on David’s door about David killing Uriah after sleeping with his wife

Conversations have brought the best out of you

Surprise conversations brought you to Jesus
Surprise conversations brought you into the baptism of the Holy Spirit

Look for them
Embrace them

They’re there to bring you to greatness

There’s been two experiences

One was when he was 8 years old,
And another was 10 years old.

“The horses” that he lied about owning.

“The spelling test” when he was 8.
There were 2-3 words he couldn’t spell.
And he had a piece of paper with those 2-3
words on them in case the teacher asked.
The teacher saw them and said, “Stay after school.”
After school, the teacher said, “I am so disappointed in you
that you would cheat on this spelling test…”
That brought conviction to him, because he realized
he’d lost the teachers favor.

Remember, you’re the CEO of your life.

You are a company.

It’s your decisions that decide your pain, your favor, your life.

You’re the CFO.

You decide what you buy,

Everything is paid for.

The only difference is currency.

You may pay for it in love, time, money, or something else.

And you’re the CIO

It is your responsibility to enter conversation.

What are you willing to learn about, know about?

What are you willing to change?

Who’s conversation helped me to get back to God?

Who helped me to get back on track?

God changes your life by the conversations that you enter.

Who is willing to receive my mentorship?

Who invested in you?

Have you shown honor?

A conversation.

Who brought your life into order?

What conversation have you ignored?
You belittled it.
You showed disinterest.

God keeps those who want to be kept.

What conversations have you been avoiding?

God may send someone to warn you.

Be very, very careful.

Don’t ignore the threats.

The Bible says those who would bless Abraham would be blessed, and those that curse Abraham would be cursed.

Oh God, let me hear the conversations You have ordained for my life.

Whoever You send to talk to me, I will listen.

Get back in line with God’s Word.

God will use a multitude of people to keep us on-track.

Embrace whoever’s voice He uses.

Have you made a vow, a faith-promise to God?
A conversation–a surprise conversation
may awaken you to a promise you’d made.

Don’t ignore the conversations that God sends to you.
You’re one surprise conversation away from changing your life.

A Surprise Conversation #4 – 10 Days of Surprise Conversations

A Surprise Conversation
Thurs 04-04-13
Church By Phone

This weekend, April the 7th, Dr. Murdock
will be at “Lord of Host” in Omaha, NE.

Dr. Murdock will have some recordings
available online for us for when he’s in Africa.

The strongest thing in his heart today is
the power of a surprise conversation.

You can make a conversation
a surprise conversation.

When I think of a surprise
conversation I think of
one unscheduled.

Something happening in the
conversation that was unplanned.

We’re getting word from everywhere.
From all over the world.

(Dr. Murdock will be in England
in a few months, weeks even).

You’re life can’t change if you
can’t have a conversation with
yourself or with somebody else.

The only thing God does is talk.

And He expects you to govern
your world with your mouth.

Your mouth’ll open doors
and it’ll shut doors.

The simplest difference
between a wise person &
a fool is what they say–
something they say.

The Bible says “a fool
uttereth all he knows,
but a wise man will
contain it until the
appropriate time.”

It’s called timing.

God does everything with
His mouth, and He expects
me to run my world with my
mouth.

Not “ruin” my world with my mouth.

Take the “i” [ “I” 😉 ] out of “ruin”

Govern your environment
with your conversation.

Silence is often a strategy to
rob you of needed information.

I despise the reaction of
silence when I ask a question.

I stop talking to people
who stop listening.

I consider my conversation to
be a major investment of my life.

I give my highest thoughts,
concentrated experiences.

I’ve take the cream of
67 years of my life and
thrusting it into a conversation
that should radically improve
a person’s world.

Stopping pain, preventing pain,
and multiplying a pleasurable
experience in my life.

I’m obsessed with pleasure.

I was created for that.

I’m made in the image of God.
Revelation 4:11

Everything God did was for pleasure.
Everything He created was for pleasure.

God expected you to have an
interest in pleasure–in fact
He uses pleasure as a motivation
for submission to Him, obedience to Him.

Men don’t serve God for one reason:
they think that it’ll stop their pleasure.

But God said, Where your “stupid”
comes in is what you think will pleasure you.

The Law of the Bittersweet:

God offers bitter first, and sweet forever.
But satan offers sweet first & bitterness forever.

The bitter moments with God are turning points.

The bitter seasons with satan is a lifestyle.
You experience pleasure for a moment.

A conversation should be a happy experience,
either in the immediate or in the hereafter.

If you’re confronted in a conversation–
meaning something you said or did
needed to be addressed and stopped.

If your mother and father confronted
you, it meant that they were trying to
stop, shorten or prevent pain the pain
of the future. And they wanted to make
it possible for you to experience pleasure.

That’s why a husband
and wife confront each other.

Dr. Murdock is personally not hesitant
about confrontation–it comes easily to him.

Conversation can be gracious, it can be gentle.

You know a [gentle] stroke and
a slap are two different things.

There’s confrontations that are coarse,
crude, rude, and brutal.

And there’s confrontations that are gentle,
kind, non-dangerous.

Who doesn’t love to be stroked?

We all love pleasure.

Who’s perverted enough to love pain?

The God Who made the
monkey knows how to laugh.

The God Who made the cheetah,
knows the power of speed, is
pleasured by speed.

The God Who made the mountains
is pleasured by beauty.

God Who made woman is
pleasured by sex.

He called Himself the Word.

He listens attentively, accurately,
perceptively–He’s perfection.

He knows you.

There’s no distortion in His character.

He says “death and life are in
the power of the tongue.”

(A preacher said to Dr. Murdock,
“I hope you didn’t tweet
that to everybody…??”

>> in response to his tweet
[to everybody]:
“Laziness is unsexy”–
and if you read Prov 31,
you’ll find a woman who
is incredibly sensuous.
She was productive.)

“Surprise Conversations

#1 Was when Rebecca sees a man with a need.
>> Not a man she could
manipulate, and to coax,
“You got a little money…?”
>> She’s not the woman that’ll
come up to you and say, “You
know, my phone got turned off.
That’s why I didn’t return your
phone call…because my phone
got turned off…!”
> Knowing that a man would
say, “Well, how much does it cost
for you to turn it back on?” 😉
> Neither did she say,
“Well, my camel got killed last
week. I wish I had a camel…”
– No, this woman wasn’t looking
for a problem-solver to hook up
with.
> To give him a little “sugar”
so he’d give her a little cash.
– This woman said, I want to
become your problem-solver.

She initiated a surprise conversation.

It’s always a surprise conversation that
some wants to solve a problem with.

#2 When Jesus walked up and a woman
had just been caught in the act of
adultery, and was about to be stoned
to death.
– And Jesus said, Let him who’s without sin
cast the first stone. All you guys–all you
guys…
– And then He stooped down and wrote
something in the sand.
> What did he write?
Dr. Murdock thinks it was:
“Where’s the man?”
– And after they’d all left, Jesus
asked her where her accusers were &
then said, Go and sin no more.

A surprise conversation where you
release somebody from the penalty
of their mistake. And remove it.

Why don’t you release somebody?

Why don’t you let go of somebody?

A famous man, Ralph Carmichael.
> known all throughout the world:
The Ralph Carmichael Symphony
> took some of Dr. Murdock’s
songs and began to arrange, and
to play them.
– he owed Dr. Murdock a lot of money
> a lot of money
– he flew all the way to Dallas to discuss it
– his company was going bankrupt
– he said, “Mike, I don’t know when I
can pay you–maybe two years…maybe
a year and a half. And I want to apologize
for owing you money, and I’ve never had
this kind of turn-down in my business…”

– And Dr. Murdock looks at this patriarch
of the Gospel
> a man with poise and dignity
> the man was “world-class” personified
– Dr. Murdock was 36 years old, and said,
“Oh, Mr. Carmichael, I’m so thankful that
you even put my songs out.”
> I’ll cancel all of your debt to me,
all of your debt. You don’t owe me a thing.
Anything we can do.”

Forgiveness makes conversations unforgettable.

Forgiveness thrusts a burden of compensation on us.
Dr. Murdock: “Ever since I found out got
forgave me, I’ve been trying to be perfect…”

You don’t ever forget forgiveness.

Some surprise conversations
expose the hidden deception
in the character of those you
do business with.

All pain contains irreplaceable wisdom
that can last you a lifetime.

Pain is a motivator.

Pain drives you to God.

Look at the prodigal son when he was
in the pigpen, and he said to himself,
“My father’s servants eat better than this.”
And the rest was history….

[prayer]
Father, You fascinate us. You fascinate us. Oh, we enjoy You. Oh, we enjoy You! We enjoy You. Thank You for Your Word. Thank You for a surprise conversation. Bring us radical changes. Thank You, thank You, thank You! Thank You, thank You, thank You, thank You. Thank You, thank You… There’s nobody like the Lord, is there? There’s nobody like Him.

Soak up love–He’s your river. Soak Him up. Bathe in Him. Bathe in Him!

The Holy Spirit is not only a person, the Holy Spirit is a place: in Him we live, we move, we have our being…

This is going to the greatest year of your lifetime.

This is the greatest year ever scheduled by the Holy Spirit in your lifetime.

You should be journaling 3 inspirations a day.

God will discuss anything that bothers you.

He’s not like the lawyer that can’t pull your tooth.

He’s not like the dentist who can’t tell you how to dress.

God’s not like the chef who can’t prepare the food you love.

He will perfect everything that concerns you.

There’s nobody like Him.

Say these words right where you’re sititing:

” I will birth surprise conversations for others.”

Say it again.

Dr. Murdock was sitting, waiting for a limousine to pick him up for a conference. And he doesn’t like waiting. He’s sitting there for one solid hour, sitting there thinking. And he remembered a friend of his who’d gone through a divorce two years prior, and Dr. Murdock had been friends with both of them, but had only spoken with the man, not the woman.

So he pulled out his phone and called her, and the phone rang and rang and rang. And Dr. Murdock thought, This is nuts!

Finally, a small ,faint, very weak voice whispered into the phone, “Hello?”
He said, “Is this ________?”
And she, emotionless, said, ” Yes.”
Dr. Murdock said, “I was sitting here thinking about you, and the Holy Spirit prompted me to call you.”
And she began to cry and cry, and sob on the telephone. She sobbed.
She said, “Mike, I’m holding a bottle of sleeping pills in my hand. And I had just decided to take them. All of them. I’d already taken the top off of the bottle–and the phone rang. And it’s you.”

A surprise conversation.

Did you ever read Ken Gaub’s book entitled, “God Has Your Number“?

You’ve gotta read that book.

Ken Gaub rode his ministry through two big city busses.
They were way out on a desert highway, and they were looking for food, and finally they found a little restaurant way out in the middle of nowhere.

Everybody filed out of the busses to go eat, but Ken said, “I felt like, for some reason, I shouldn’t eat. So I decided to just pray.” So he went off to pray in a little area beside the road next to the restaurant. Ken began to pray in the Spirit in that area, when all of sudden, out of the clear blue, a phone rings. Ken thinks to himself, A phone? Where is there a phone way out here?

He looks around, and there’s a phone right there. There’s a public telephone, over on the side of where he was praying out in the parking lot. He looks around and nobody else is there. He walks over there to the phone, picks it up, “Hello?”

And a voice cried and said, “Hello? Hello? Hello…hello? Is this Ken Gaub?”

On a telephone–in the middle of the desert, here in the United States!

He’s shocked. He says, “Yes it is…who is this?”
She says, “Is this Ken Gaub, the evangelist, of Ken Gaub Ministries??”
He says, “Yes.”
She began to cry and she says, “I’m a drug addict, and I was fixin to commit suicide,” and she says, “And I cried out to God! I cried to God! And God gave mr these numbers to write down. And I wrote the numbers down that the Spirit told me, and called them…”.

She had no idea it was through a public telephone booth, on the side of the road, of a little restaurant. And that Ken Gaub was driving, and had just stopped at that restaurant.

And Ken Gaub wrote a book about it, “God Has Your Number”.

God knows your pain.

God knows where you struggle.

God’s not offended with your reaching for Him.

God’s not embarrassed when you reach for Him.

God’s not perplexed when you need an answer.

Saturday Dr. Murdock flies to
Omaha, Nebraska for Sunday’s
services. And Tuesday on the
9th of April, he will leave for
Germany, to go to Lagos,
Nigeria, on to Port Harcourt,
then to Abuja.

The Spirit of God told Dr. Murdock a few nights ago that
there was going to be 10 days of surprise conversations.

Not just God to you.

God’s going to send somebody to talk to you.

God’s going to send you to talk to somebody.

Kids will call. People will get raises at work.

Don’t believe it? Journal it.

Journal it.

There’s an atheist girl, Natalie, on
Twitter who really hates Dr. Murdock’s
ministry.

Dr. Murdock decided to ask God to
“shake her world up”.

[In fact, pray for] By April the 9th, her and
every U.S. atheist to have a Divine encounter.

A surprise conversation for atheists in America(!)

God loves to listen.

And He loves to talk. If He finds somebody
to listen, He’ll talk all night.

He’s never boring.

He’s fascinating.

Say:

“I receive a surprise conversation by April the 9th.”

Father, some will not hear this until the last day.
Give them another ten days. Those who do not
find out about this until [after] the 9th, give them
an extended period of time to have a Divine
encounter. In Jesus’s Name. Amen.

Praise God, praise God.

Dr. Murdock:
“Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.”

Dr. Murdock has been invited to two major
conferences for leaders in Nigeria.

Every August & September for the past 10 years,
Dr. Murdock, along with T.D. Jakes and others,
has preached at the “Gathering of Champions”
Conference, in London.

Thank you for caring, thank you
for making it possible. Thank you.

Dr. Murdock is going to South
Africa at the end of April, and then
going back to Nigeria to build a church
in the month of May.

Become part of the ” Nigeria 300 ”

Investment.

ROMI – return on my investment

Thinking like an investor:
Not what will happen to today,
but what will happen tomorrow?

Like Sam Walton investing in what
a company will look like a year from
now, or the Japanese companies that
have 100-year, or even a 300-year goal.

Plant a seed.

Invest in God’s Kingdom.

Invest in the people doing God’s
work on the earth.

A Surprise Conversation #3 (Day 5/10)

A Surprise Conversation #3 (Day 5/10)
Wed 04-03-13
Church By Phone

Dr. Murdock is driving with some minister friends
Dr. Mike Smalley is in the car with Dr. Murdock…

[don’t forget to journal about
your surprise conversations…!]

Remember that surprise conversation.

This was initially going to be
on The Law of Influence…

But God is talking to Dr. Murdock
so much about this:

A Surprise Conversation

notes

In fact, people all over
the world are already
sending in their testimonies:
> homes are being reunited
> families are being
healed and set free
> businesses are having turnarounds

Where you decide to use your
faith is where you’ll see miracles
in your life.

Remember: miracles are not
according to God’s whim or fancy.

God reacts to faith.

Miracles are the fruit of faith,
the proof of your faith.

Some say, God if You love me,
You’ll give me a miracle.
God replies, If you’d
believe Me, you’d see it!

God’s got a qualified group
of people in front of Him
and He’ll qualify you to
receive from Him.

Become persuaded that
faith becomes ecstasy in
the heart of God.

Reminder:

The only thing God does is speak.
The only thing God does is talk.

He loved words so much
He called Himself the Word.

Conversations create marriages.
Conversations destroy marriages.

Conversations launch World Wars.
Conversations stop World Wars.

Conversation is the
seed for earthly events.

Conversation is the birthplace
for every human experience.

James 3:3-5 (KJV)
The brother of Jesus, James,
says that our tongue is like
the rudder of ship.

A huge ship is controlled
by a small rudder.

A rudder decides whether or not
the ship will reach its destination

Be swift to let God use you, to give
birth to a surprise conversation.

A woman who’d been
married 5 times went to a well.
And Jesus went into
a surprise conversation with her.
An entire city came to Christ.

An Ethiopian eunuch in Acts 8, is
staring at the words, just baffled by
a passage in Isaiah, when suddenly
the Spirit of God drops off the Spirit-
filled Deacon, Phillip, and a surprise
conversation
ensues, culminating in
the eunuch being saved and baptized,
and Phillip is caught back up by/into
the Spirit.

[note: Check out this PDF/paper I found
looking for references to the Ethiopian
eunuch entitled “A Divine Appointment
Is that not a fitting title?? 🙂 ]

And according to Josephus, the
Jewish historian: that eunuch
led 90% of Ethiopia
to Christ. [could not confirm
this but here’s the Wikipedia
Christianity in Ethiopia
Any help would be greatly appreciated!]

A surprise conversation.

Praise God, praise God!

Praise God.

It’s gonna happen.

It’s gonna happen:

Between now and April 9th, every
single partner of this ministry who
walks in obedience to God’s voice,
is going to hear, have, experience a
surprise conversation
.

Initiate it.

If God wakes you up in the middle of
the night, initiate the conversation.

If God tells you to make a
telephone call to someone,
initiate the conversation.

Non-reachers are the most
powerless humans on the earth.

A non-reacher disqualifies himself.

Praise God…!

What a joy, what a joy to have Dr. Mike Smalley, one of our board members
of The Wisdom Center–one of our decision-makers, that we respect highly.

He’s built over 60 churches around the world. He’s one of our favorite men of
God at The Wisdom Center and our conferences. He’s traveled thousands of miles with Dr. Murdock around the world, including a trip or two ago to Nigeria. Just a marvelous blessing of a man. He’s going to share on “A Surprise Conversation”:

[Dr. Mike Smalley begins sharing]

As we walk in obedience to the
Spirit within us, we will have that
surprise conversation.

God is no respecter of persons.

Every time you hear a testimony of something incredible that God’s done for someone, know that God is willing to do that for you too because He’s no respecter of persons.

Something that happened to
Dr. Smalley several years ago
that was a surprise to him:

While Dr. Smalley was shaving, all of a sudden the Holy Spirit came into the room and began a surprise conversation.

In a matter of seconds, the Holy Spirit shared how Dr. Smalley was overlooking an opportunity in a financial area that the Holy Spirit was providing for him….

He whispered into his heart two small
changes that he could make in his lifestyle….

Dr. Smalley listened to that instruction, and didn’t argue or try to negotiate with Him, but was obedient….

And within 10 days, Dr. Smalley had $17,000 (cash) extra in his hand….

…from one conversation.

If you’re needing today for God to
bring you a special harvest, wrap
your faith around the fact that God,
the Holy Spirit, will talk to you too.

He’ll talk to you about what to do
with your finances, and about your
expectation level.

He’ll not only talk to you about seed sowing, He’ll talk to you about being faith-filled in your expectation for a harvest from the seeds you’ve planted in the past.

God will talk to us…during unexpected moments, like being awakened in the middle of the night….

Many years ago, Dr. Smalley
was in New Zealand….

And the offerings really mattered
at this point in his life. He was
a young evangelist.

Now, he’d never really received good offerings before in New Zealand, but he felt God tell him to go, so he went, and was there for 10 days….

And this particular trip was the first time there that, everywhere he went, there were incredible offerings, and he was about to get back on a plane and head back to America….

And while he was alone in his [condo] room, the Holy Spirit spoke to him, and reminded him of a leader who had mistreated him in that country a year earlier….

And the Holy Spirit nudged him, and said, “I want you to take every penny that you’ve received on this trip”–which, again, was quite a bit!–“And I want you to take it to the home of the man who’d done you wrong a year ago, and I want you to sow it into his life,” and Dr. Smalley “died 10,000 deaths…”. 🙂

He didn’t like this man.

This man actually owed Dr. Smalley
money–a lot of money….

In fact, that was the last man
he wanted to take an offering to,
much less everything he’d just
received over the previous 10 days…!

And so, he wrestled with that for two or three hours, alone in a condo (where Dr. Smalley had been staying in New Zealand, of a couple that–to this day he’s never even met–had just gotten married and were on their honeymoon)

And Dr. Smalley finally said, “Holy Spirit if You’re really working with me to sow everything I’ve just received over these past 10 days into this man that I don’t even like, then wake me up in the middle of the night at an exact time” and he went to sleep, with no one else in the condo there to wake him up. He was staying there all alone….

And he went to sleep, and then in the middle of the night he opened his eyes, rolled over in bed, and looked at the digital clock beside the bed–and it was the exact time he’d requested the Holy Spirit to wake him up.

That was a bittersweet wake-up call, because now Dr. Smalley knew what he needed to do the next day….

So he responded to that Divine surprise moment, and delivered every penny the next day to that man saying, “The Holy Spirit told me to bless you,” and to this day, the man who received the 10-day’s worth of offerings from Dr. Smalley (who was expecting the man to weep and cry and want to be his best friend now) hasn’t even said thank you….

So Dr. Smalley flew back to Dallas–and he didn’t tell anybody about what he’d done, it was just between him and the Lord–but when he got home….

“Heaven exploded over my head” and within days there was an extra $20,000 in extra support that had come into his ministry. And it became, at that time, the largest month he’d ever had in his ministry….

Because he’d honored a surprise conversation from the Holy Spirit.

A few years later, Dr. Smalley was
on a plane, going to Africa to start
a church….

And as he was walking
onto the plane in London…

And, looking two or three rows ahead, he noticed a young African girl (about 25 years old) who was sitting down in the seat next to where Dr. Smalley would be sitting, and as he was putting his luggage in the overhead compartment above their row of seats….

The Holy Spirit–Who’d never done this prior nor since–spoke to him saying, “She is ready to accept Christ”.

It stunned Dr. Smalley because it was so clear, so sudden, so “out of the blue”….

But Dr. Smalley knew His voice, and so he sat down, and after a couple hours he started a conversation with her, told her what he did for a living, and shared with her the Gospel, thanked her for listening, and then went back to reading his book…

About 30 seconds later, she reached her hand across, grabbed Dr. Smalley by the arm and said, “My God, I’m lost! If what you say is true, don’t leave me hanging like this! Tell me how can I meet the Jesus you just talked about…?”….

And at about 36,000 feet, flying above the desert of North Africa, Dr. Smalley led her to the Lord–just like the Holy Spirit had told him prior to taking his seat on that flight.

Dr. Smalley has a number of other incidents where God has shown up in his life in a strong way–with a surprise conversation from the Holy Spirit.

And Dr. Smalley is really believing that by April the 9th, you’re going to have a surprise conversation with the Holy Spirit.

Jesus said, “My sheep know my voice and another they will not follow.”

Or biggest challenge as Christians is not hearing from God,
it’s crucifying our flesh enough to obey what we hear.

Dr. Smalley relates how Dr. Murdock has taught us that many times, even though
God’s instructions to us may seem illogical to our minds, they’re never impossible to follow if we use our faith.

Again, if you and I could just grasp the pleasure it brings God when we use our faith–when we obey His voice.

Think about the scripture in Hebrews that talks about how he who comes to God must just believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.

God said, That without faith it’s impossible to bring Me joy, but if you want to bring me joy, just believe that I exist–and believe that I will reward you, if you seek Me.

There’s going to be a supernatural encounter that you’re going to have with the Spirit of God in a matter of days.

And Dr. Smalley believes it’ll be something that you’ll write in the back of your Bible–something that you’ll tell people about for many years to come.

It’s a surprise conversation with the Holy Spirit.

Dr. Smalley prayed with a young man that within 24 hours he’d have a Divine encounter with the Holy Spirit.

They asked God for a Divine encounter that he’d never forget.

He woke up the next day & the Holy Spirit nudged him in a surprise way while he was getting ready for work and said, “Don’t go to work today. But instead, go and visit your cousin.”

The young man reasoned with the Holy Spirit, “If I’m late for work I’ll get in trouble with my boss.”

The Holy Spirit said, “I’ll take care of your boss. Just go straight to your cousin’s house.”

The young man reasoned back, “How about I just call him?” But he knew the voice of the Holy Spirit, so he drove to the country just outside of Dallas…

He got to his cousin’s house and nobody answered the door. So the young man said, “Well, Lord, he’s not even here. Nobody’s here…”

He went to get back in his car, and the Holy Spirit said, “Check the barn.” So the young man went to the barn….

The young man went into the barn and found his cousin there, who had just finished writing a suicide note, getting ready to wrap a noose around his neck and kill himself. He was less than 60 seconds away from committing suicide.

The young man grabbed his cousin, grabbed the rope, talked to his cousin, and led him to Christ.

He brought him to one of Dr. Smalley’s meetings that night. Both of them gave their testimony publicly, and today the young man, Brad, who had the surprise encounter with the Holy Spirit to go to his cousin’s house, he Pastors a church in Dallas, TX.

When the Holy Spirit surprises you it changes everything:

It changes the way you see your past
It changes the way you see yourself
And it changes your expectation for the future.

Let’s get in agreement that we believe in a surprise conversation in our lives by April 9th.
[end of sharing by Dr. Smalley]

Dr. Murdock is working on finishing his book on “A Surprise Conversation” right now.

It may be that you need to initiate the surprise conversation, like the blind man yelling out to Jesus as He walked by.

Sometimes those around you will try to mute the surprise conversation.

Remember the woman with the issue of blood.

Remember when God started taking to young Samuel, the son of Hannah?

God scheduled that surprise conversation.

Sometimes a surprise conversation is needed to correct somebody who is off-track.

The prodigal son.

He had a negative surprise conversation with his father initially, but later he had a surprise conversation with himself in the pigpen, after the Holy Spirit brought conviction to his conscience.

[And went back to his father, and had another surprise conversation as his return was not only accepted, but celebrated…!]

Sometimes a surprise conversation is the seed for glory and victory in your life.

Jesse looked at his youngest son, David, and told him to bring some food to his brothers who were fighting against the Philistines.

And look what happened with Goliath!

Sometimes God may stir you to face, to confront a Goliath in your life.

Nehemiah had a surprise conversation with the king, who allowed Nehemiah to go and rebuild the walls of Jerusalem & even sponsored his work!

Often, a surprise conversation sets in motion Divine provision.
